Our Mission

At Breaking the Grass Ceiling, we believe golf isn’t just a game—it’s one of the most powerful networking tools in business. For decades, men have leveraged the golf course as a space to build relationships, earn trust, and foster opportunities with clients and colleagues. They don’t talk business every hole, but they spend four and a half hours connecting, bonding, and creating familiarity that opens doors in boardrooms later. And here’s the kicker—they don’t have to be good golfers to do it.

Unfortunately, many women in business miss out on these opportunities. Why? Because they think they’re not “good enough” to play. Men never let that stop them. They show up, take their swings (no matter where the ball lands), and focus on what really matters—building relationships. When women pass on golf outings or corporate tournaments, they’re missing out on something far more valuable than a scorecard: highly coveted face time with prospective clients and decision-makers.
